What's new

What we have shipped at Vamos and when. Latest releases first.

2026-09-15, the biggest update we have shipped

Three months of work, going out together. Forty nine changes, and the ones that matter most are near the top of each section. If you have not opened Vamos since June, the sidebar is different, Saved is called Collections, Formats has a page of its own, and there is a weekly brief waiting for you.

Discover, rebuilt as three tabs

For you, Following and Search, because "show me something useful" and "show me what these twelve people posted" are not the same request.

  • For you rebuilds every Monday and covers the last seven days only. Not fourteen, not thirty. It is picked from your content pillars and the creators you track.

  • Following is only the creators on your Watchlists.

  • Search takes a topic and looks across the whole database, over 600,000 videos with thousands added daily, and falls out to a live pass when the index is thin on your topic.

  • A panel called How For you works tells you what your feed was built from. If you follow nobody it says so, instead of quietly giving you a worse feed.

  • Every video carries an outlier score against what that channel normally gets, so a creator with 4,000 typical views can out-score one with four million.

  • Open a video and Vamos says what it found in it, with the opening line pulled out and chips for remix this for my brand, break down the hook, and why it worked. From the card itself a video adds to a chat or saves to a collection.

Formats used to be a tab inside Discover. It has a hub, a page per format and a page of every example video now, and the library grows on its own: roughly 50 to 100 new example videos a day and one to three new formats a week.

  • Every format says why you are seeing it. Three creators you watch use this. Big in your niche. Posting is up. Fits your business.

  • The hub is sectioned, not ranked. Suggested for you, Creators you follow use this, Rising now, New this month, Trending in your niche.

  • A format page carries a hook mix, so you can see what kind of opening those videos actually use.

  • Posting activity over 30 days, with how that compares to the format's usual pace. A format that goes quiet says so.

  • An average outlier score and where it ranks against the rest of the library.

  • A beat-by-beat timeline of how the video is built, with the script and the on-screen text for each beat.

  • Filter by what a format costs to film. Faceless only, solo, easy edit, no product needed, no location needed, and a simple, moderate or heavy edit grade.

Creators and Watchlists

  • Adding a creator is a search. Type a name or an @handle and pick a real profile with its follower count, its typical views and the topics it posts about.

  • Twenty creators per list, on every plan including free. That went up from 15.

  • Suggestions are retrieved by topic instead of follower count, ranked as a funnel and gated on views per follower, so a big account with no engagement is not suggested.

  • Suggestions work in your language. A Hungarian pillar retrieves Hungarian creators.

  • Starters on every list and every creator, already filled in with that list or that handle. What worked this week, find hook patterns, generate ideas, recreate their top videos, full profile audit.

Collections, where Saved used to be

  • Videos and docs in one place, filtered by type, sorted, with an All saved collection covering everything.

  • Your notes belong to the post they were written on, so a note stays with its video wherever it turns up.

  • Paste links straight in, several at once. Vamos fetches the caption, the metrics and the transcript, and names the reason when one fails: that is a profile, this account is private, this post no longer exists, already in this collection.

  • Hand a whole collection to a chat, up to 60 items at a time. That is the actual point of keeping them.

  • Duplicate a collection, rename it, or ask about it directly from its own Ask AI panel.

Prompts

  • The prompt library is organised by what comes back. Every prompt is labelled with its deliverable: a breakdown, a verdict, a ranked list, a report, a plan, ideas, concepts, a script, hooks, a storyboard, a brief, a creator list, a Watchlist, a Routine or a setup pass.

  • Eight categories, each with a line saying what it is for, and a Top prompts shelf.

  • Search matches words the prompt never says, so looking for reel or calendar finds the prompts that answer it.

  • Save any prompt. From the library, or straight from a message you already sent. Edit them, delete them, search them, all from the bookmark icon in the message box.

  • Turn a saved prompt into a Routine from the same form, without going to another page.

  • Eight starter prompts on the new chat screen instead of an empty box. They are full prompts you can edit before sending, not category buttons.

Chat

  • A prompt queue. Type while an answer is still running and your prompt waits under Up next, then sends when the turn ends. Up to five deep, and you can remove any of them.

  • Chat opens beside what you are looking at, as a drawer on Discover, Formats, Creators and inside a Collection. It carries its own history and opens full page when you want the room.

  • Contextual next steps against the videos or docs you picked: break down the hook, recreate for my brand, turn this into a script, rewrite in my voice, pull out the hooks.

  • Research steps are named by what they did. Searching Instagram for your query, found posts, opening a handle, watching videos, reading the comments, searching the web, checking the research holds up. A long run shows its step count, its elapsed time and a video counter climbing.

  • An Outputs and Sources panel showing the docs a chat created and the posts and profiles it read. Sources open inside Vamos.

  • Drag a file or a link onto a chat. Files attach as sources, a link is read in full. Uploads take documents, spreadsheets, audio, images and video at up to 100 MB each, several at once, and an uploaded video can be watched.

  • Vamos offers to make a good chat recurring, with a nudge you can dismiss.

  • Every answer shows what it cost and how long it took, and a turn that cost nothing is marked free.

My Brand, and output that sounds like you

People told us the scripts did not sound like them. The old model asked you to describe your voice, and nobody can describe their own voice.

  • Three tabs: Profile, Voice and Context. The Advanced disclosure is gone. Context is new and holds your rules, your memories and your files.

  • The profile is a set of fields, so Vamos can use it, with a completeness reading that names the gaps instead of showing a bar.

  • Your voice is learned from samples of your own writing: posts you link, files you upload, text you paste, or your published work read from your handles. Around ten samples is where it gets good.

  • A voice strength reading that names the gaps. How many of ten samples you have, whether there is nothing from a platform you publish on, whether every sample is the same format.

  • The voice report runs to eighteen editable sections, from tone and rhythm to your openers, your closers, your signature phrases and the things you would never say. Each marked strong, getting or thin.

  • Three ways to fix a voice that is off: links to work that sounds right, pasted text, or a mode called What's off that takes your complaint in your own words and rewrites the parts that could describe anyone.

  • Rules and custom instructions, in your words. Never use emojis in my captions. Write as we, not I.

  • Content pillars carry a weight each, always totalling 100, and they drive your feed and your creator suggestions.

  • Where you publish is editable, and it shapes which creators get suggested and how Vamos writes for each platform.

  • Vamos can edit My Brand from chat and tells you which sections it touched, with an undo that says what it will undo before you press it.

Docs

  • Rewrite a section from scratch, generate hooks from the page, or Remove AI language from a paragraph that reads like a machine wrote it.

  • Headings, lists, quotes and code blocks, with full undo and redo.

  • Three widths: half screen, centered and full page, because a script and a report want different room.

  • Export in five formats: Text, Markdown, PDF, Spreadsheet and Word. Copy keeps your formatting.

  • Each revision from chat makes a new version. The one you had stays where it was.

Your own account, measured against itself

Add your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube handle and Vamos reads your posts, then works out the median views for that account. That one number changes what every other number means.

  • Your accounts row shows your followers and the median views that count as normal for you, with your best recent video as a multiple of it.

  • Every post you make is read and tagged: nine hook types, seven call-to-action types and eight formats. So which format works best for you has an answer instead of an opinion.

  • The screen you land on opens with your week. Views, posts, a comparison against the previous seven days, your best post against your own median, your routine results, top videos this week and formats picked for you.

  • A next steps card that names what is missing, with a prompt attached to each one.

The weekly brief

A brief once a week covering what moved in your niche, what the creators in your Watchlists posted, which formats are climbing, and how your own posts did. One to three things worth acting on, not a digest of everything that happened.

  • It renders in the app as well as arriving by email, with a list of every brief you have had.

  • It is free. It never spends your credits and does not count against your plan.

  • Every finding carries a prompt, so acting on one is a tap. Findings are labelled outlier, in your niche, format, or your post.

  • You choose the day, the time and the timezone.

  • It stays quiet when there is nothing to say. A readiness gate decides whether there is enough material, and the run states are honest: quiet week, already sent recently, was off when due, out of credits, could not finish, interrupted.

  • Two things switch it on: your own handle added, and at least five creators tracked.

Routines

Any prompt you would run by hand, on a schedule. Daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly, at a time and a timezone you set.

  • Six starters instead of a blank box: weekly loop, trend report, competitor watch, profile review, daily content and refresh past winners. Each has a real prompt you can read before switching it on, written two ways so a company gets "our competitors" and a person gets "my competitors".

  • Two ways to create one. Describe it to Vamos in chat and let it set the schedule, or set the prompt and schedule yourself.

  • Email to up to three addresses, which is how a client gets a weekly report without an account.

  • Run now for a preview, and a deliveries list showing every past run.

  • A prompt with blanks in it says how many are still unfilled and jumps you to each one.

  • A failed run says so, does not email you, and refunds its own credits. A run that produced nothing is no longer mailed as a result.

Credits and models

  • Each job costs about a third of the credits it did in July. Credits were repriced against what the models actually cost, research moved to a cheaper and faster model, and the expensive tail was capped.

  • Your first turn on a new account is free.

  • Carrying on in one chat is cheaper than starting a new one with the same material. Repeat context bills at a tenth of the normal input rate.

  • The sidebar counter says what a credit is, and workspace settings shows the split between your monthly allowance and any packs you bought.

  • Eight models, described in plain terms, each with its speed and credit cost. AUTO routes one answer across models, using a cheap fast one for research and Claude for the writing, so you pay Claude rates only for the writing.

Smaller things that still matter

  • Vamos knows your timezone instead of asking for it, so a Routine set for Monday morning means your Monday morning.

  • Memory holds twenty facts about you across chats. Read them, clear them, or switch memory off, all on the Context tab.

  • Setting up is rebuilt. You pick competitors out of a search instead of typing names, your own handle is captured so Vamos has a baseline to measure against, your pillars come back weighted, and you can leave halfway and pick up where you stopped.

  • Old bookmarks still work. The old inspiration page goes to Discover, the old saved page to Collections, the old trending page to Discover.

  • Free accounts get a preview of Discover and Formats where there used to be a locked door, and a long doc shows its opening.

  • When credits run out, the message says the part people actually worry about: your chats, docs and saved work are all still here.

  • Invoices have their own tab, with the number, the amount, the status and a download.

  • Cancelling shows when access ends and offers to keep the plan. On a trial you can start the plan early, and the modal states the exact charge before you confirm.

  • Real error and not-found pages that say what happened in one line and give you a way back, instead of a blank screen.

  • A what's-new card inside the product, and the sidebar can mark an item New or Beta.

  • The sidebar collapses.

Renamed and retired

  • Saved is now Collections. Nothing you saved is gone.

  • Canvas is called a document. Every one you made is where you left it.

  • Watchlists open from Creators in the sidebar. The feature is still a Watchlist.

  • Profile Analyst is retired. Its job is covered by Watchlists and by asking in chat.

What has not changed

Vamos does not film, edit, schedule or publish. It does not generate video or images. It works on the handles and creators you add, not on everything, and it sends nothing unprompted except the weekly brief. It does not promise performance. What Vamos cannot do

2026-05-05, Spring product update

A round-up of everything we've shipped since Agent v3 went out in late March.

New

  • New auth flow. Faster, more reliable Google sign-in across the app.

  • Process group display redesign. Cleaner visual treatment of what Vamos is doing while it works, with shorter and more accurate process titles.

  • Production-ready RAG. Your Brand Profile is now used reliably across chats, with off-topic suppression so the AI stays on-brand.

  • Mobile full-screen modals. Full editor and dialogs on mobile finally feel first-class.

  • Workspace upgrade modal, and a refreshed new-workspace creation flow.

  • Stripe pending-validation states. Clearer billing UI when your card needs verifying.

  • New prompt suggestions in the chat input.

  • Drip-fed onboarding. New users see steps gradually instead of all at once.

  • Manual workspace analysis flow. When URL fetch can't auto-analyze your brand, fill it in by hand.

Improvements

  • Reduced Claude credit usage on most chats, so conversations cost less.

  • Adjusted credit pricing for GPT-5.4 and Claude, for fairer per-model rates.

  • Faster RAG retrieval, and better Brand Profile matching.

  • Better brand profile generation during onboarding.

  • Streaming indicators show Claude's thinking blocks live.

  • Per-message model is now visible in chat, so there is no guessing which model answered.

  • Mobile chat layout polish.

  • Profile pictures show in similar-accounts grids when available.

Fixes

  • Default model now sticks across page reloads.

  • Free-plan users can always create at least one chat, a regression fix.

  • No more duplicate generation start when initializing a new chat.

2026-04-10, Smarter agent, 5x credits, deeper research

The biggest update we had shipped at that point, with 15+ improvements rolled out together.

A smarter agent

  • Handles bigger, multi-step prompts as one clean flow instead of separate tasks.

  • Better at knowing when to research and when to write.

Credits go 5x further

Rebuilt the agent to do better work for way less. What used to cost 200 credits now costs about 30-40. Same plan, way more usage, already live, no changes needed.

Need more? Buy extras on the Billing page, paid plans only.

Research goes deeper

  • Comments analysis. Pull and analyze comments from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. See what audiences are actually saying, not just what creators are posting.

  • Similar accounts discovery on Instagram, for competitor exploration without manual searching.

  • Visual research display. Browse everything Vamos analyzed, not just the final output.

Chat feels more guided

  • When your prompt is missing details, Vamos asks through a simple form instead of back-and-forth.

  • When the next step is obvious, Vamos pre-fills your next prompt so you keep moving.

  • Edit any sent message and regenerate from that point.

New model selector

  • Each model shows its speed, quality, credit cost, and context window so you can pick the right one fast.

  • AUTO mode picks the best model for your task, including Claude. For most work, just leave it on AUTO.

  • Thinking mode handled automatically when the task needs it, with no toggles.

Full canvas editor

When Vamos writes a script, post, or report, click "Open" to edit it full-page with AI tools. Highlight any section, ask AI to rewrite, shorten, expand, or humanize. Undo, redo, save, download, like a Google Doc with AI built in.

Brand Profile and Brand Voice major upgrade

  • Brand Profile capacity is now 15x larger. Upload as much context as you want without worrying it eats credits.

  • Vamos no longer dumps your full Brand Profile into every chat. It stores everything, then pulls only what's relevant per task.

  • Brand Voice loads before Vamos writes anything, so outputs feel less like generic AI.

2026-03-06, Memory, the Brand Voice rename, and a credit reduction

Two new features to help you get better outputs, plus a credits-go-further commitment.

Memory

Vamos can now save useful information about you and your brand as you work. As you chat, we automatically save key information: your tone, your audience, your preferences, your goals. The more you use it, the more it personalizes outputs without you having to re-explain yourself every time.

Find it in the Memory tab inside Brand Profile.

Brand Voice, formerly Writing Style

Updated interface to make the distinction between About You and Brand Voice clearer. You can now view and edit the full voice profile generated from the content you provide.

Credits go further

Credit costs across most actions dropped by roughly 50%, about 2x usage on the same plan, no changes needed.

Tips to stretch credits:

  • Keep your Brand Profile short, or use the new Memory feature instead.

  • Use GPT-5.2 as your default, the best balance of quality and credit cost.

  • Running low? Reply to any product email and we'll check whether you qualify for free extras.
