Chat takes files and links, several at a time.
The limits
100 MB per file. Several files at once.
Accepted: PDF, Word, text, Markdown, spreadsheets in CSV or Excel, audio as MP3, WAV, M4A or AAC, video as MP4, MOV, AVI or WebM, and images as JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP or HEIC.
HEIC is worth mentioning because it is what an iPhone photo actually is. A screenshot straight off a phone works.
What Vamos does with each
A document or a spreadsheet is read for its content. A blog post becomes scripts, a brand guide becomes context, a transcript becomes a brief.
Audio and video are transcribed. Record yourself talking through an idea and Vamos can write from how you actually said it, which is often better than how you would have typed it.
An image is looked at. A screenshot of a competitor's post, a photo of a whiteboard, a frame from a video.
A link is fetched and read. Post and profile URLs from the supported platforms get the full treatment, including transcript and on-screen analysis for a video. Any other URL is read as a page.
Pasting several links at once
Paste them and Vamos fetches each one. The composer placeholder names the shortcut, and it works anywhere in the field.
If one fails, the others still go through, and the failure says why.
Images in My Brand
Chat accepts images. The Context tab in My Brand does not. If you want a document or a note there, use a file or paste text.
Handing over a whole set
If you have more than a handful of videos, save them to a Collection and add the set to the chat instead of pasting links. Up to 60 items at a time. See Collections.
