A format is a video structure that keeps working across different creators and different topics. Not a topic, not a trend, and not one video.
The library holds them broken down beat by beat, with the videos that used the structure and how each one performed.
Why a structure is more useful than a video
Copying a video gets you one post and it is somebody else's. A structure is the part that transfers.
If eight creators in unrelated niches all open the same way, hold for the same length, and land the point in the same place, the shape is doing the work rather than the subject. You can put your own subject in that shape.
Reading a format
Open one and you get a timeline preview split into parts. Click a part and you see it on its own: what is said, and what is on screen. Some formats are silent with no voiceover, and they are marked that way.
Above it are the numbers. Average outlier score across everything using the format, how many videos and creators, and where it ranks against the rest of the library. Below it, posting activity over the last thirty days with how that compares to the format's usual pace.
There is a hook mix too, showing which kinds of opening this format tends to use.
Finding one worth making
The shelves do most of the sorting, and each suggestion tells you why it is there.
Shelf | Where it comes from |
Suggested for you | Matched to your brand |
Creators you follow use this | Drawn from your Watchlists |
Rising now | Formats picking up pace right now |
New this month | Formats added recently |
Formats carry a momentum state: evergreen, proven, catching on, early, or quiet. Quiet tells you how long it has been since anything new appeared.
Filter by what it costs to film
This is the filter worth knowing about, because it decides whether you will actually make the video.
You can filter to formats that work with no face on camera, need nobody but you, need no product, need no particular location, or take a simple edit rather than a heavy one. A brilliant format you cannot film this week is worth less than a good one you can.
Making your version
Recreate this format sends it to chat with your brand and voice attached, keeping the structure and beats and swapping in your topic. Make it mine does the same from a card. Add to chat brings it in without a prompt so you can ask your own question first.
