Watchlists: track creators and competitors

Grouping the accounts you want watched, and what Vamos does with them.

A Watchlist is a group of accounts you want Vamos watching. Add the creators and competitors who matter, and their recent videos and numbers stay current.

Creating one

Open Creators and create a Watchlist. Give it a name, and a description if it helps.

Group them the way you actually work. An agency usually wants one list per client. A single brand usually wants one per niche or one per competitor set.

Each list holds up to twenty creators, on every plan including free. How many lists you get depends on your plan, and the counter on the page shows where you are against that.

Adding creators

Search by handle, by name, or by topic, then add. The same creator can sit in several lists at once.

Vamos starts scanning as soon as you add someone. That takes a minute or two per creator, and the page tells you it is working. After that their recent videos, views, engagement and outlier scores are on the list.

A private account cannot be read. Adding one will not produce anything.

Finding creators to add is currently your job. Search here, or ask in chat to find accounts like one you already know. The suggestions panel is not live yet.

Reading a Watchlist

Sort by Outlier score and you get the videos that broke each account's own pattern. That is the sort worth using, because it surfaces the posts where something changed rather than the posts from the biggest account.

You can also sort by most recent, views, likes, comments or engagement rate, and filter by platform or follower size.

Asking about it

Three starters sit on every Watchlist and they are the questions worth asking:

What worked this week looks at the last seven days and tells you which videos beat their own average and why. Find hook patterns reads the openings and tells you which patterns repeat, with examples. Generate content ideas turns their recent posts into ideas you could make, with the angle behind each.

There is also an Ask AI panel for anything else.

A creator on their own

Click through to a creator and you get their profile: followers, typical views, how many posts Vamos has cached, and their full recent output with the same sorts.

The starters there are per creator. Recreate their top videos. Generate ideas from their posts. Or run a full profile audit, which covers what they post, what performs best, how often they post, and where the gaps are.

Deleting and removing

Removing a creator takes them off that list and nothing else. Deleting a Watchlist removes the list, not the creators.

Why it is worth keeping ten or more

Your weekly brief reads your Watchlists. A list with three accounts gives it very little to find, and thin lists produce thin weeks. Ten or more per list is the point where the brief has something to choose from.
