Creators is where you follow the accounts you want Vamos watching. Follow the creators and competitors who matter, and their recent videos and numbers stay current.
When you set up your workspace, Vamos followed up to six creators for you, so check who is there before adding more.
Following one
Open Creators and search. Topic finds accounts working in a subject, and Account finds one by @handle, name or profile link. Then press Follow.
Group them the way you actually work. An agency usually wants one workspace per client, each following its own creators. A single brand usually follows its competitors and the creators it learns from in one workspace.
How many creators you can follow is set by your plan and counted across the whole workspace, not per list: 20 on free, 70 on Pro, 150 on Business. The Creators you follow panel shows where you are against that.
Adding creators
Vamos starts scanning as soon as you follow someone. That takes a minute or two per creator, and the page tells you it is working. After that their recent videos, views, engagement and outlier scores are on their page and in Videos under Following.
A private account cannot be read. Following one will not produce anything.
With the search box empty, Creators suggests accounts grouped by your content topics, with Follow all for each group. Similar creators, the layers icon on any card, finds accounts like one you already know, and chat can do the same.
Reading the creators you follow
Open Videos, stay on Following and sort by Outlier score, and you get the videos that broke each account's own pattern. That is the sort worth using, because it surfaces the posts where something changed rather than the posts from the biggest account.
You can also sort by most recent, views, likes, comments or engagement rate, and filter by creator, platform or date.
Asking about it
Three starters sit in Ask AI on Following, and they are the questions worth asking:
What's working this week looks at the last seven days and tells you which videos beat their own average and why.
Patterns across my creators finds the hooks, formats and topics that repeat, with examples.
Compare my creators tells you what each one does differently and who is pulling ahead.
On Creators, the same panel starts with Who am I missing?, Who should I drop? and What do they have in common?, and takes anything else you ask. It opens from Ask about who I follow, at the foot of Creators you follow.
A creator on their own
Click through to a creator and you get their page: followers, typical views, how often they post, their best length and hit rate, and two tabs, Videos with the same sorts and Insights.
The starters there are per creator, in Ask AI.
Recreate their top videos.
Generate ideas from their posts.
Or run a full profile audit, which covers what they post, what performs best, how often they post, and where the gaps are.
Unfollowing
Unfollow in Creators you follow takes a creator off every list they are on. It is the x beside their name.
The creator is not deleted, so you can follow them again, but they drop out of your brief and out of Following until you do.
Why it is worth keeping ten or more
Your weekly brief reads the creators you follow. Five creators, with your own account added, is the minimum for a brief to run at all, a list with three accounts gives it very little to find, and thin lists produce thin weeks. Ten or more is the point where the brief has something to choose from.
