Memory is how Vamos stops asking you the same things. Tell it something once in a chat and it keeps it for the next one.
What gets saved
Standing facts about you and how you work that have no other home in My Brand, like when you post or which platform comes first.
"We film on Tuesdays" is a good memory. So is "I post three times a week". Say it once and it holds. A rule like "never open a script with a question" goes into My Brand instead, as a Rule or as part of your voice.
Where to see it
My Brand, then Context, then Memory. It shows how many are saved, and Manage lists every one.
Turning it off
Memory can be switched off in the same place. With it off, nothing new is saved to Memory and each chat starts from the rest of My Brand alone.
Memory and the rest of My Brand are not the same thing
The rest of My Brand is what you deliberately set up. Memory is what Vamos picked up along the way.
They work together. My Brand carries the structural facts: your offer, audience, content topics, voice. Memory carries the standing facts that never had an obvious box to go in.
If something belongs in both, put it in your Profile, Voice or Rules. Those are read on every piece of work and they are the version you control directly.
Making it forget something
Say so in chat, or remove the memory in My Brand. Both work.
Worth doing when something has changed rather than when it is wrong. A memory that was true last quarter and is not true now will quietly shape drafts until you clear it.
