Every plan can make a team, Free included. The people you invite work in the workspaces you share with them, from the same Brain, chats and Routines, and they spend your credits instead of paying for their own.
Creating a team
Open Settings, then Teams, or Manage teams in the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar. Press Create a team and name it after your brand, a client or your agency.
Then press Share workspaces and pick the ones the team should open. A workspace is in one team at a time, and you can own several teams, for example one per client.
Inviting people
Press Invite members, enter their email and choose what they can open. The invite lasts seven days and only works for that email. They create an account, or sign in if they have one, and the team's workspaces appear in their workspace menu.
An invite takes a seat when you send it, not when they join. Cancel the invite to free the seat.
Admin or Member
Each person gets a role:
Admin can invite people, remove them and choose what they open. An admin cannot see billing, buy seats or change another admin.
Member works in the workspaces they are given and cannot manage people.
Only you, the owner, can make someone an admin.
Each person also gets All workspaces, which includes ones you share with the team later, or Specific workspaces that you pick. Change either with Edit access on the Members tab.
What the team shares
In a team workspace, the chats, Brain, Memory, Routines and Collections are shared. Pinning or deleting a chat does it for everyone.
The weekly brief email goes to everyone on the team who can open that workspace. A Routine's email goes only to the people it was set up to send to.
Who pays
You do. Everyone on the team spends your credits, from the one balance all your workspaces share, and only you see billing.
The team's Usage tab shows credits by person or by workspace, daily or weekly, against the period before.

A seat is one person, even if they are on several of your teams. Only Business can buy more seats.
On Business, Buy a seat on the team page adds one seat at a time for $20 a month. It renews monthly from the day you buy it. Cancelling a seat keeps the person until the end of the month you paid for, and nothing goes back to your card.
Removing someone
On the Members tab, choose Remove from team. They lose the team's workspaces right away and their seat is freed. Their own workspaces stay with them.
A seat you bought keeps renewing until you cancel it, so you can invite someone else into it.
If your plan changes
If your plan no longer has a seat for everyone, the people who do not fit lose access to the team's workspaces until you give them a seat again with Re-seat. Nothing in the workspaces is deleted. Moving off Business cancels every seat you bought.
