Common questions

Short answers to what people ask most, each pointing at the article with the full one.

Short answers. Each one links to the article that holds the detail, so there is only ever one place a fact can go stale.

Do I have to connect my social accounts?

No. You add a handle and Vamos reads what is public, the same as anyone visiting your profile. There is no login, no password and no permission screen. A private account cannot be read at all. See Adding your socials.

Can Vamos post or schedule for me?

No. Vamos writes the script, caption or brief. Posting is yours, and there is no scheduler in the product. See What Vamos cannot do.

Does it make the video?

No. No video generation, no image generation, no editing. It tells you what to film and writes what you say.

Can it watch a video, or only read the caption?

It watches. Vamos can pull the transcript and analyse what happens on screen, which is how a breakdown can talk about pacing and what is shown rather than just the words.

How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?

Those are general assistants. Vamos is built for one job and comes with the parts that job needs: a live index of short-form video, your competitors tracked continuously, your voice learned from your own posts, and a brief that arrives without being asked. See Vamos compared with ChatGPT and Claude.

Will it actually sound like me?

It gets close if you give it samples. Vamos derives your voice from things you have written or posted rather than from a description of your tone. The product tells you how solid your voice is and what would sharpen it. See Teach Vamos your voice.

Does it just copy what competitors are doing?

It tells you what structure worked and why, then writes your version on your topic in your voice. The pattern is what transfers, not the content.

Can I run several brands or clients?

Yes, in separate workspaces. Each keeps its own brand, voice, Watchlists and chat history. Business includes three, and extra ones are available. See Workspaces.

How often are Watchlists updated?

Vamos keeps the recent videos of the creators you added current, and scans new creators within a minute or two of adding them. Your weekly brief reads the last seven days. See Watchlist scanning and freshness.

What is the weekly brief?

One to three things worth acting on, every Monday, from your Watchlists, your niche, rising formats and your own posts. It is included on every plan and never spends credits. See Your weekly brief.

How do credits work?

A credit is spent when Vamos answers you. Cost depends on how much it reads, how much it writes and which model runs. Every answer shows what it cost underneath it. See How credits are spent.

What do the plans cost?

Plans, credits and prices has every price and allowance. It is the only article that carries them.

Does the trial need a card?

Yes. You pick a plan, the trial runs for seven days, and it converts unless you cancel first. See The free plan and the 7-day trial.

Can I export what Vamos writes?

Yes. A doc exports as text, Markdown, PDF, CSV or Word, and can be shared by link. See Exporting and sharing.

Which languages is the interface in?

Six: English, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian and Russian. That changes the interface, not what Vamos writes for you, which follows your prompt and your brand. See Account settings and interface language.

Can I get a refund?

Within fourteen days of your first purchase, if you have used no more than 200 credits. See Refunds.
