Workspaces

Running several brands in one account, and what each workspace keeps separate.

A workspace is a separate working context for one brand. Switch between them in the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar.

What each one keeps separate

  • Its own Brain, including the voice and the content pillars.

  • Its own creator lists.

  • Its own Routines and weekly brief.

  • Its own chats, docs and Collections.

Nothing leaks between them. A draft written in one client's workspace is written in that client's voice, because the workspace is the boundary.

What is shared

Credits. They belong to the account, not to the workspace. All your workspaces, and everyone on your team, draw on one balance.

Your login and your account settings are shared too.

People. Share a workspace with a team, in Settings, then Teams, and everyone you invite to it works from the same Brain, chats, Routines and Collections. See Teams: invite your team.

How many you get

Each brand gets its own workspace, with its own Brain, chats and creators. Free and Pro include one brand, and Business includes five. On Pro you can add up to four more at $15 a month each, and on Business as many as you need at the same price. Free cannot add one. See Plans, credits and prices.

Creating one

New Workspace in the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar, or in Settings, then Workspaces. Name it, and you are taken through a short setup for its brand.

Workspace menu open at the top of the sidebar: “Levi” ticked as current, “New Workspace” below

If your plan's workspaces are all in use, Pro and Business offer one more for $15 a month: name it, press Continue to payment, and it appears once the payment goes through. Free, and Pro past five workspaces, are offered the upgrade instead. Only the account owner can add one.

Set up Brain for a new workspace before doing real work in it. A workspace with an empty brand writes for nobody, and that is more obvious on a client account than on your own.

Who this is for

Agencies and freelancers running several clients, and anyone running more than one brand.

If you have one brand on several platforms, that is one workspace. Platforms are handles inside Brain, not separate workspaces.

If you downgrade

Workspaces above your new limit are locked rather than deleted. Nothing inside them is lost, and they open again if you upgrade.

Deleting one

Permanent, and it takes everything in that workspace with it. Do it when a client relationship ends, not to tidy up.
