The free plan lets you use Vamos properly before deciding anything. The trial opens the rest of it for seven days.
What free includes
One hundred credits, granted when you sign up. They are a one-time grant and do not refill each month.
With them you can chat, research a competitor, build out My Brand and your voice, follow up to twenty creators, and run one Routine. Your weekly brief is included and costs no credits, so it keeps working after the hundred are gone.
A few things are limited rather than absent. Videos and Formats show you a sample instead of everything. After the first three, long docs stop partway. Downloading and sharing a doc need the trial or a paid plan, and so do saving and copying one.
What the trial adds
Seven days with 300 credits, and the full product.
The trial runs on a plan you pick, Pro or Business, and it carries that plan's allowances for everything except credits. Trial on Business and you get three workspaces, and 150 creators and five Routines in each, while you are deciding. Only the credit figure is fixed at 300 for the week.
The trial is for first subscriptions. If you have subscribed before, checkout charges you straight away instead of starting a trial.
You can end the trial early and start paying whenever you want. Do that and you are billed immediately and your full monthly credit allowance becomes available straight away.
The card check at the start
A card is required to start a trial, and Vamos checks it before the trial begins. The check is a temporary $0.50 authorisation that is released immediately and never charged.
While it runs, the workspace stays on free-plan limits. When it passes, the seven days and the 300 credits start.
If the card is declined, the trial does not start and Billing says Payment action required. The fix is to update the card, which runs the check again. Waiting does not clear it. The two declines we name are insufficient funds and details we could not verify. See Payment and card problems.
What happens on day seven
The trial converts to the plan you selected unless you cancel first, and you are charged for the billing period you picked, monthly or yearly.
The date and the amount are on the Billing tab in Settings, and the sidebar counts down the days left. Check there rather than waiting for a reminder.
If you cancel before the end, nothing is charged, and when the seven days are up the app locks until you pick a plan, with only Settings still open. Nothing you made is deleted. Your chats, docs, creator lists and brand stay where they are, and they are all there when you pick a plan.
Where to check
Settings, then Billing shows which plan you are on, when the trial ends, and what you will be charged. The sidebar shows the days remaining and your credits.
