Account settings

Your name, email, password, theme, language, and how to delete an account.

Open Settings from the user menu in the sidebar. It opens over the page rather than navigating away. Your details and how the app looks are both under General.

Your details

Your name is in the Account section of General. It appears on shared chats and docs, so it is worth having it right before you share anything.

Your email is shown there too, but you can't change it yourself. To sign in with a different address, email [email protected] from the address on your account and tell us the new one. We move the account over and everything in it stays. Don't delete the account and sign up again, because deleting removes every workspace.

Two things to avoid while you wait for us. Don't sign in with Google using the new address, because that creates a second, empty account. And changing the address on your Google account does not change your Vamos login, so there is nothing to do on Google's side.

Password

Change it in the same section. If you signed in with Google there is no password here to change, because your Google account handles signing you in, and the page leaves the password row out rather than showing you a dead field. That is about the password only, not about which address your Vamos account is on.

The same section shows your Sign-in method, either Google or email and password, which is worth checking before you write to us about either.

Settings, General tab, Account section: Full name, Email, Password, “Sign-in method” and “Delete account”

Theme

Settings, then General, then Appearance. Light, dark, or follow your system.

Interface language

Eight languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Russian, Polish and Portuguese (Brazil).

Change it in Settings, then General, under Preferences. It sits directly under Appearance.

Settings, “General” tab: under “Preferences”, “Appearance” (Light, Dark, System) and “Language” set to English

This changes the interface only. It does not change what Vamos writes for you, which follows your prompt and your brand. If you want output in another language, ask for it in the chat or put it in My Brand.

Deleting your account

In the Account section of General, and it is permanent. Every workspace, chat, doc, creator list and brand goes with it.

It also cancels any subscription immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period you have paid for.

If what you want is to stop paying, cancel the subscription instead and keep the account. Your work stays, though the app locks until you pick a plan again. See Managing your subscription.
